1800 Milenio Extra Añejo is an exceptional, ultra-premium 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila representing the absolute pinnacle of luxury Mexican distilling. Initially released to celebrate the new millennium, this highly coveted expression represents more than 250 years of family tradition and master craftsmanship.
The production process begins with estate-grown blue agave, harvested at the peak of ripeness and slow-steamed in traditional masonry ovens before undergoing double-distillation in copper pot stills. The liquid is then matured for a minimum of three years in select charred American oak barrels before receiving a meticulous finishing period in hand-picked French oak Cognac casks. This unique secondary maturation yields a tequila of unparalleled softness, showing a dark amber pour with copper highlights. On the nose, it reveals rich, elegant aromas of raw honey, ripe figs, and sweet red fruits. The palate is thick and decadent, delivering prominent layers of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and rich caramel, all balanced by a sophisticated backdrop of warm wood spice.
