An ultra-rare, master-blended treasure from Puerto Rico’s most prestigious distillery.
Released in 2015 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Destilería Serrallés, this Reserva de la Familia is the pinnacle of Puerto Rican rum. Distilled in 1994 and aged for two decades in charred American white oak, only 1,865 bottles were produced—a tribute to the year the family tradition began.
The Collector’s Detail: The Authentication Seal
It is a well-known nuance of this specific 150th Anniversary release that the bottles were originally issued from the distillery without a standard plastic or wax neck seal. To provide peace of mind for collectors and verify the liquid’s integrity, this bottle features a discreet silver authentication strip. This seal serves as a secondary verification of the bottle’s provenance, ensuring that the original cork and ‘liquid gold’ inside remain exactly as they were when they left the Serrallés family cellars.
