A Fusion of Nature and Industrial Design
This stunning limited edition was released in 2011 as part of Hennessy’s annual “Exclusive Collection” series. For this edition (the 4th in the series, often titled “Odyssey”), the Maison collaborated with the renowned industrial designer Arik Levy.
Levy, known for his “Rock” sculptures, reimagined the classic Hennessy X.O decanter with a highly reflective, metallic copper/gold finish. This choice of material pays homage to the copper pot stills used to distill the eaux-de-vie. The presentation box features a dynamic geometric “ray” pattern, symbolizing the radiating power of the cognac inside.
Collector’s Note: The bottle is individually numbered (yours is N° 8127) on the back label, confirming its place in this limited run.
