Celebrate four decades of excellence with the Midleton Very Rare 2024 Vintage Release. This 40th-anniversary bottling is a tribute to the legacy started in 1984, representing the pinnacle of Irish whiskey. Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman has artfully blended rare single pot still and single grain whiskeys—aged between 12 and 33 years—to create a vintage that is both a collector’s dream and a connoisseur’s delight.
Matured in a combination of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon American oak barrels, the 2024 edition introduces a subtle twist: an increased grain contribution that imparts elegant floral, rosewater, and herbal notes, perfectly balancing the traditional pot still spice.
Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich vanilla and honeyed sweetness, followed by a burst of orchard fruits, ripe pear, and a touch of warming cinnamon and clove.

Palate: Silky and luscious. Layers of nectarine and peach meld with decadent crème brûlée, toffee-apple, and chocolate-dipped honeycomb.
